You love movies, want to practice your English outside the language classroom and would like to meet other students?
The English Movie Club (EMC) of the Language Competence Center is just what you need! We meet regularly to enjoy watching a movie together (in English with English subtitles) and talk about it in a relaxed atmosphere (plus free popcorn!).

If you'd like to know more about the movies we are watching and would like to be in contact with the other movie lovers, join our Moodle course: English Movie Club. You can either just stop by and be surprised by which movie we will be showing that week or you can join this Moodle course to find out more.
Join us for an enjoyable and thought-provoking evening. The event is free of charge and you don't need to register. We are looking forward to seeing many of you there.
The English Movie Club is also part of the Language Certificate. You can receive a badge for attending the movies and once you have enough badges, you can receive the Language Certificate which certifies your engagement in foreign languages. This is a great opportunity to receive a document which you can add to your CV and which shows that you are interested in intercultural exchange and internationalization. If you like to receive a badge or not is of course completely up to you. Either just join us because you love movies and would like to watch a movie together with others or get a badge and show your engagement.
