Prof. Dr. Luiz Carlos Bombassaro (1st Foto) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Porto Alegre, Brazil,  reports on the discourse surrounding raw material extraction in Brazil and discusses the project’s interim findings with the BHT Ethical Mining research team.

In cooperation with Luiz Bombassaro, Annalouise Harks (3rd Foto), Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT), Germany, is writing her Master’s thesis on the topic “Interplay of raw material extraction associated with the global energy transition, exemplified by Brazil and Germany.

 

At the CSRcamps 2024 and 2025 in Berlin, we contribute insights from our project to the societal discourse.
We discuss our research project with experts and answer critical questions from interested civil society actors.
