Bio
Martin Ortel is a working student in the MAGDa team at Beuth University of Applied Science. His major is Technical Computer Science / Embedded Systems.
Before working with semantic web technologies in the BIM-FM project team, Martin was a member of the FoerDaBa project developing in sql, JavaScript and Python. FoerDaBa concluded in 2016.
In 2015 Martin was a working student at Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. As a member of The Electronic Life Of The Academy (TELOTA) team he helped researchers to profit from the new research opportunities information technology can provide.

Prior to his studies at Beuth University Martin was working as a CAD-Engineer in the automotive industry.
Outside the university Martin is involved in a virtual reality theater group and a local cultural and political group.
