Peter Tröger
Peter Tröger is a professor for distributed systems at Beuth University since 2018. He leads the Computer and Information Systems Lab (RIS lab) that operates the Beuth Data Science cluster.
Peter holds a Doctorate in Computer Science from University of Potsdam, and a Habilitation from Technical University Chemnitz. He spent several years at Hasso-Plattner-Institute, working in close collaboration with industry partners such as Audi, SAP, Daimler, and Oracle, as well as with standardization bodies such as ETSI. He contributed to several books and holds a patent in real-time scheduling for distributed automotive systems.
Peters research interest is in dependable distributed systems, with a special focus on anomaly prediction, dependability modeling and uncertainty aspects. A list of publications and projects can be found on his homepage.
