The goal of the BMBF-funded research project with the participation of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin, the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology, Ascora GmbH, ART + COM and the P.A.N. Zentrum as clinical partner is to explore the use of VR/AR systems in the clinical setting for people with orientation disorders.

Digitized routes of everyday life can be developed by the rehabilitation patients themselves virtually. In this way - according to the initial hypothesis - route training should be facilitated and the independence of the rehabilitation patients should be promoted. The persons concerned will be involved in the development from the beginning.

In the future, VR/AR systems could make a significant contribution to improved rehabilitation in cases of orientation disorders.
