Research Consortium IMPACT: Interaction, Metabolism, Purification, Analytics, Co-Culture, and Target-Specific Drug Design

The shared goal of the IMPACT Research Consortium is to characterize and produce bioactive substances, as well as to analyze and harness the potential of cells living in complex communities. In line with the BHT’s guiding vision, City of the Future, the findings of these research activities are intended to advance applications in hygiene, disease prevention, and healthcare.

The IMPACT Research Consortium brings together researchers from three academic departments at BHT:

• Department II (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry)
• Department V (Life Science and Technology)
• Department VIII (Mechanical Engineering, Event Engineering, and Process Engineering)
